At Strawfire, Australian chef Ross Shonhan’s first Abu Dhabi restaurant, dishes are briefly seared over burning straw in the Japanese warayaki style: prawn toast, miso-glazed Chilean sea bass, spaghetti mentaiko. Its team won the MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi’s cocktail award (the MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi, November 2026).
