About Mangrove National Park
Mangrove National Park, protected by the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi, holds almost three-quarters of the emirate’s mangrove forest, with more than 60 species of birds, from greater flamingos to western reef herons. Explore it by kayak, paddleboard or a boat tour with a licensed operator; high tide is the best time to go in (Visit Abu Dhabi; ead.gov.ae).
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Mangrove National Park before you go.
